Henri Lefebvre

Along these lines, I admire Lefebvre for several things, firstly for being one of the key intellectuals to understand the revolution of 68, in addition to being considered one of the fathers of that movement, and for connecting and revolutionizing sociology and geography, managing to connect them based on seeking the liberation of the subjects.

He contributed to the analysis and deepening of dialectical materialism, established a strong connection between sociology and geography, in addition to raising a giant revolution in the latter.

Henri Lefebvre  was a French philosopher. He devoted himself to sociology, geography and historical materialism in general. He is considered one of the fathers of the movement that led to the revolution of May 1968 and inspired a whole current of progressive thought.
